So...despite writing to me a few days ago that "I think it is ridiculous to take this before the House for one day's debate as this would allow insufficient scrutiny and I think this would be best returned to the House by the next Government", my MP didn't think it worth showing up to vote.
Bah. Judging by his request for my postal address, I'm going to be addressed in writing on the topic. I shall look forward to that :)

I found it really interesting when I discovered the only two questions my Liverpool MP raised were about chickens and a housing development near Solihull. Surprising when you consider his constituency is in a fairly built up area 200 miles away from the midlands.
