So, suppose I wanted to start a petition can anyone recommend a decent online site for doing such a thing ? This isn't to be a Government petition, but should look reasonably respectable so I can pass a link to the institution which I would like to act on it ( Read more... )

get a count, and just tell me the numbers.

I'll talk with those that need talking to and see what we can do.

Thanks - I vaguely know the Spa people from the folk week, so wasn't worried about that aspect of it, but you're probably a better person to pass it on. Still need an easy means to do the counting, though :)

i can make up a cheap-and-cheerful site for collecting names if you like.

Thanks - I presume they already exist though, so seems like it'd be a bit of a waste of your wheel-invention talents.

I would say petitiononline.com. But the home page implies it's specifically for politics. Double-but, the front page links to a petition with 32000 signatures to ABC to save a TV show.

Pledgebank is useful for this sort of thing - write a pledge like "If the Spa gets a barrel of real ale in for WGW, I will buy a pint of it"

Wooo....Go Liz....Count me down for one....or half a dozen....I really think the problem will be just one !

Get something good and it'll *FLY*....get something poor and it'll probably still vanish within an hour or so.
