Aw, this was sweet.

Ava would not have minded spending the evening with Julian. He's a good time. Probably for the best he didn't call for her, though. His mind was elsewhere.

Lisa and Ernie make me giggle. Romy understands, hun. Oliver gets a little indignant over the noises she makes during foot rubs, too.

Neil, in Paris with a pretty girl on New Year's Eve instead of working on legal cases? What is the world coming to?

Padma shouldn't be alone, but we agree. The new year will be better. She's coming into her own.

Lysander agrees that he's an idiot.

Having Stephen with her family, playing games and poking fun at her big sister while their baby rests in her belly? Best. New Year. Ever.

I think the Julian bit would have made more sense if the Julian/Penelope placeholder from December was up and not, you know, a placeholder.

Lisa and Ernie were probably my favorite to write. They totally made me laugh, too.

Neil's a good sport. Gabrielle thanks him for taking time out of his busy schedule to drink and dance with her in the streets of Paris. ;)

Padma hopes the new year will be better.

I'm with Padma this NYE. Maybe I'll adopt her resolution for the night as well.

It was nice seeing everyone again. Pansy's bit is giving me plot bunnies even... (Edward says he wouldn't mind some of that whiskey himself.)

Hee, poor Percy with those rambunctious nieces and nephew. His trousers are ruined. xD (He doth protest too much, maybe.)

I like the juxtaposition of what the Delacour sisters are up to on New Year's. Fleur having a family get-together on the beach and Gabby being fabulous and flirty with Neil.

Percy's a good sport. Claire (and Tristian, were he not tuckered out) would love to wreak havoc with their stuffy uncle. The Delacour girls were fun to write for different reasons, but I like them.
