I read the book back when I was in Egypt, randomly picked it up at the campus bookstore XD Great read, and I agree the original Swedish film was good. I re-watched it a few weeks ago when I first saw the new English trailer.
The book is still the bane of my existence =( But I know I am in the tiny, tiny minority/vaguely trying to get over it haha.
Random thing - one of the other books I read for Random House was just turned into a movie as well (The Descendents). I actually did like that book, wasn't sure they'd do anything with it so I was surprised to see trailers for it.
