Glad you liked it! You know, I still haven't seen those eps. I'm up to RSRD (which was ... wow) and I'm waiting for a little free time. Then I will prepare for the Attack of the Plotbunnies.

Oh, this is just heartbreaking. It takes me back several months to when the emotional impact of CotP was so fresh, and I'm absolutely impressed by the exact word count. (usually that sort of arbitrary deadline will result in unnecessary words or unnecessary editing, but this is a really precise and perfect drabble.)

sorry for the profoundly belated response, I'm both catching up on a lot of fic I missed this month and trying to re-break-out of all my lurker tendencies

*feels thoroughly pleased with self* Thank you! I'm glad you liked it. (Ironically, I wrote this before I saw CotP ...) I've stopped worrying so much about going over word count on drabbles, if they need the extra words, but I always try for 100.

As you can see, I know all about belated responses!
