Yay! So happy to see an update this morning! Well...I'm still nervous, wondering what's going to befall John next chapter, but I'm relieved he got this far ok. You have really captured the emotions he must be feeling in this situation and loved the near confession Sherlock made and the actual confession John made. Looking forward to seeing where you go with this. Mycroft is so ambiguous!

Wow this chapter is very intense!The words you used and how you described the society was well done. I was kind of disgusted by them and how they interact with John ( I guess this is what you wanted to achieve, right? ^^)

I had the update mostly done but a bit of polish before the vacation, actually.

I'm not much for humiliation either, but it was absolutely required for the plot. These guys at the party would not settle for anything less. So... I figured, for thems who enjoy humiliation, I'd throw it in. Sherlock was having John practice so he could blow up there in safety rather than having him explode at the party, where Sherlock had less control and the consequences would have been worse. Not that it made it easier for John.

I totally thought you said you "had the update mostly done but a bit of Polish", like, from Poland. I was entirely confused, wondering, was the vacation in Poland? Do you speak Polish? It took me ages to figure it out. XD

The evening won't drag on much longer. It's kind of hard to guestimate how many words action will take so I don't know if there is one or two chapters left of this, but no more than that.

Good to know! It does help, actually, to know that this is difficult for Sherlock, as well.
