I really like the description of Hughes, nice to see someone taking his enthusiasm for his family as a mask, instead of pure obsession.

Gah NO!!!!!! I was up to 3 FREAKING am writing this monster. I have small children. I can't afford to spend the time writing 10,000 word chapters. Now I'm sucking down my triple latte and trying to find the energy to steam clean the carpets.

As for Hughes. Sorry. Had to be done. My hands were tied. But if it makes you feel any better, I have no future plans on raping him again, and he is a major character. This will help add to his angst load and ratchet up the tension in future interactions.

And see, I didn't kill his family and I didn't kill him.
