Spurned!Greed is oddly charming. Ah, I was almost afraid to read, to see what would happen to Roy, but the narrative kept me fascinated. Now what will happen next?
Greed is a sweety... sort of. He's a very affectionate creature. It takes work for him not to fall in love with pretty, interesting things, so he's he's got hurt feelings and betrayal on one side, and that overwhelming decadent desire on the other.
Next chapter is Sloth's point of view -- what happened while Roy was gone. How Greed knew about Hughes... and yes... what happened to Hughes. Poor Hughes. And poor Ed.
Awww, no! ;_; I'm fine with Roy getting beat up and brutalized, but leave Hughes alone!
Hmm, if he's as affectionate as all that, something tells me he's probably going to go back on his promise to kill Roy after a few days. Heh. A bit of a Dread Pirate Robbins deal.
oh man. the part that had me clawing at my face the most was when greed made it a point to tell roy he knew who hughes was and how much he meant to him. i actually made a little gasp and went "oh no!"
i knew roy wouldnt be able to get away, but ooooh greed is scarier than i thought :(
Yes, and in fact THANK YOU. I read this comment and suddenly knew exactly what happens in the next chapter. And oh, it's not pretty. Next chapter Greed/Ed, Sloth/Hughes.
Oh tell me you didn't long for me to mess with Hughes. He's right there, he knows so much, and he's got that wife and child he has to protect. He's got "Make me a victim, too" stamped on his forehead.
Greed really doesn't like being uberviolent. He likes being loving, so even when he is pissed off and hurt like this, he still can't suppress his affection.

Greed never promised to kill Roy after a few days. He said he MIGHT kill him after a few days -- or weeks, or months.

I was kinda' worried to read it because I knew bad things would happen to Roy, but I can't make myself stop!
I love the way Greed switched between uber violent and loving towards Roy. Really quite scary.
Umm anyway, incoherent ramble over...
