My, my, my, Sherlock is getting awfully possessive even though he's never even met John. He changed from being "the" guide, to "my" daring, brave guide. I squealed over that that whole paragraph. I did keep misreading "daring" as "darling". Must be from Sherlock calling him a sweet, naughty little rogue. ;)

So they have a change of getting to know each other before they know the other is a sentinel or guide, that is very interesting. I hope they get to have adventures together before they know what the other is. All the pining of finding someone that they think is perfect for them and being unable to bond with them is just delicious.

I have to say I felt bad for Mycroft in this, all those string he has to jump through just to have his guide. I think he'd be able to mastermind his way through that and get those people out of power.

I was so excited when I saw the new part at the end! I love this series.

Fate seems to be telling Sherlock something. Wonder what it could be... hmmmm...

Well, no, I can't promise Sherlock knowing John and having adventures with him without realizing he's a guide, cuz, figuring out John's a guide is Sherlock's job. But I'm not giving away my plot twists either.

Yay! That's what I was hoping for. I knew that chapter was too dense with the backstory. I still have a fair amount in here, the biggest points are still there, but it's mostly case related so hopefully it can be forgiven.

I have never seen nor read anything of the Sentinel (it just seems to be a show with really bad hair, and i cant be going there!) but have to say that this is working wonderfully as an AU without that knowledge, am so looking forward to updates.

This is fantasic, I am an avid fan of your work and waking up every morning to a new chapter is just wonderful.

Even knowing nothing of the sentinel universe, I am able to follow and enjoy every aspect of this.
