"my husband is not known for his tact, and I can just see him going up to the actors and asking them "Are you out of your F#IU%*#YUing mind appearing in that?""

ROTFL! I'm sure quite a few people would have loved to ask the same thing! That was great, LOL!

BTW... I have a master list of reviews (fans and press) and info on the QueerAsFolk comm. Would you mind if I added yours to it?

I would love it if you used my review. I haven't been much with LJ lately, but I want to get back to my QAF roots, because that's where it all started. I'm also feeling slightly schizophrenic, because some people read both this and facebook, and I'll think I posted something on both sites. Facebook is easier, but my son and everyone else in the world is there, and sometimes that's not a good thing--unless I want to find out where the hell he is, and why he isn't answering my calls/texts, etc.

Now I'm going to go back and read your posts and your fiction. I'm always on the look for fiction I haven't read--it's one of my major guilty pleasures.

And now I know where to find other people's comments on the things at the Red Bull and the Andy Warhold play Randy was in. I hated having so few aficionados with whom I could confer.

If you have any questions, just give a holler. If I'm able, I'll be happy to answer.

Oh, I'm so glad you kept up the tradition! It still feels weird to me that I won't be there this year.

I have to confess that I love the absurd in theater and Beckett has always been one of my favorites. I'm sorry to miss this production (or any Beckett production, really) because it's not the kind of thing that's staged very often.

When Chive was talking about getting not having the combination for the safe where I presume the weapon was locked, I wanted to say "Oh, for heaven's sake, I'll hack it open, let's just get you both out of your misery."

LOL. For me, that's what I most like about Beckett - that whole sense of frustration and wanting to slap the characters upside the head :). I'll have to post a pic of my bookcase one of these days because it quite perfectly sums up my odd taste in things - critics be damned. I don't actually see that much of a divide between Beckett and Wicked - the story is what matters. Or maybe it just helps that I got straight A's when I was studying this unit in school :D.

Books! You are wonderful :). Umm, I pretty much will read anything once. Anything supernatural (vampires, witches etc) is okay though I'm more Harry Potter than Twilight. Mysteries, forensic/crime is a giant YES. I don't read Robin Cook but my mother will more than likely read them :).
