I've gotten several questions lately about our floggers and I started thinking about how quickly our toy collection has grown. Wow. We've only been playing (BDSM) since last July

*Wow*... you are soooo crafty (bowing in admiration).... I'm taking notes... hmmmmmm "Oh precious..... " you're might need to make a run to the store for me.... *evil grin*....
That sounds quite intense to make it considering my best is like stamped cross stitch or a latch hook...though I am interested in 1.Martha Stewart flogger aka It's a good thing (lol) 2.Crocheted flogger
All I did was take the surveyors string (it is about twice as thick as kite string and is made of nylon) and do a single chain stitch down the length of it. when I had about 2 feet I cut it and tied of the end tight as I could and melted it just a tiny bit to keep the knot from slipping (too much and it will sting the bottom's bottom).
I made 13 "falls" like that. Then I took a bicycle handle bar cover (buy them in the bicycle section of walmart. they come in black or clear) and pulled the falls through. xergh was unhappy with the squishy feel of the handle (not enough falls to make it a tight fit) so I wrapped the handle section of the falls with several thicknesses of duct tape before forcing it into the handle (actually, I tried and wasn't strong enough, so xergh had to pull them through). I secured it into the handle by taking the ends that stuck out the handle, dividing them in two sections and wrapping with a bit of colored duct tape to make a ring

I have a friend who has been dying to teach me to crotchet so I could possibly do that. #2 aka good thing seems reasonably understandable to make after rereading several times. (= Thank you so much!
