With the Caprica pilot leaking online today (Caprica being the Battlestar Galactica prequel that officially starts in a few weeks on Skiffy), I'm curious if BSG fans plan to check it out, and if there are any non-BSG fans that are even considering watching the pilot. Poll tiem nao. :)

I got into BSG because of my then-boyfriend (soonish-husband) and it was a "together" thing. So soon after what I still consider to have been a very emotionally draining finale, with us both wrapped up in other things, I'm not sure we'll feel like tackling it.

At any rate, I came into BSG via DVDs and torrents right when it was cresting season 3, so I have no problem being a little bit behind the curve. Maybe after the first half-dozen episodes, when it's had time to hit its stride (I maintain that one should almost never judge a TV show by its first few episodes) I'll get a-rentin' or a-downloadin' and see if the characters draw me in.

By S3 of BSG I hated it with a passion, but still watched nearly all the fucking episodes. I WANT to say I won't watch Caprica, but I know myself, so I can't be sure. (Just like I can't be sure I won't watch Stargate: Universe even after they fucked over Stargate: Atlantis.)

I watched BSG but I'm not watching Caprica because I feel like I've had my fill of the story. And I'm kiiind of not really interested at this point, but maybe when I am I might give it a go.
