Rodney's heart might have broken just a bit in that moment. It had only been such a short time that he'd realized he loved John, but it already felt like he'd lost something huge.

Oh, poor Rodney..... good thing John came to his senses.... Ronon should get a huge thank you...

John was just protecting himself *pets him*, but yes, it's good that Rodney actually spoke up and could clear up what John misunderstood, so that he could clear up that he felt the same. And yes, they owe Ronon for this :)

Tiny nit--this is in the wrong tense:
They roll onto their sides in the sleeping bag and they're sticky with sweat and semen, but Rodney has never felt better. He leans his forehead against John's shoulder as John is catching his breath.

And this was a really nice read! Love Ronon being all happy about doing this, "what goes on under that mix of dreads and knifes" made me lol, and the sex scene was very hot. Yay!

*falls over laughing* Oh Ronon, you crazy matchmaker you! Soon they'd be snuggled up in one sleeping bag together and maybe then Rodney would finally get it. And if John survived the humiliation he was going to kill Ronon. Very dead. Ahahaha John would have asked him to stop, if he wasn't determined to never ever discuss this. Bwahahaha
