Team Romance headers!

I'm probably not the only one who has only scratched the surface of the sgabigbang goodness, but there's more goodness coming up (as you all know). mcshep_match will start posting August 15th.

I'm supporting Team Romance. So I've made a few headers for LJ. I'm using one in my new layout (OMG, green!). All John/Rodney, all for sharing. Enjoy and spread the love :)

Thank you! I love this scene. It's one of the things I remember from the time when I hadn't watched the show itself, but seen a few vids. The slow motion version of John turning to Rodney is entirely breathtaking.

I love these headers. If I wasn't in love with my current one, I'd totally pick one of these. But of course not the ones with "Team Romance" written on them, 'cause, you know, angst fan here :p *waves*

So far I don't hate the green. Although I've been wanting to make a real layout. But it's not as easy as it looks to get into this stuff. But it's on my list of things I might do in my two week vacation. Actually I have an idea for something bigger... a McShep writing comm, but I'm not sure if I'm even ready for posting about the idea yet. I have something very specific in mind... I just don't quite know how I feel about it at this point.

:P We'll see how it goes. After the overwhelming win in the drabble tree I fear the worst for Team Romance. But in any case there'll be lots of fic, which is a win for everyone!

McShep writing comm, cool! If you're uncertain about it, just wait a couple of days, or maybe a week or two, think about it some more; or you could tell your Flist about this and ask for help/suggestions/whatever :)

You're right, in the end it doesn't really matter which team wins (we all already know that Team Angst will beat the pants off Team Romance anyway) because there'll be tons of different fics we can enjoy.

Yeah, my instinct is to wait, but the thing is, my vacation will be the ideal time to implement this. After that it'll be Christmas till I have a lot of time on my hand again.

I don't want to put it under flock, because I think I'd be interested to hear from people who I've not necessarily friended. But I feel that if I post publicly I need to be prepared for all kinds of comments and for that I should know what I really want from people. I.e. do I just want people to cheer me on or am I prepared to be shot down unmercifully.

It's been a while since I've actively done something like this. And that ended... well, not badly per se, but I'm a bit wary, because I really crashed and burned there.

Hmm, I think I *will* post something under flock tomorrow to test the waters ;)
