Thank you for posting this. It's good to have specific names and details to pray for. Since the day this happened I've asked God to show Himself in mercy and comfort through His people, so that those who suffer will find not only physical relief, but salvation through Christ.

This sounds so much like the US Gulf coast, and especially New Orleans, in the wake of Katrina; apart from the military, the government didn't do much more than talk, while the church showed up and went to work. In Japan the church is so much smaller ... but God is still big!
