I remember Furbies! My sister had one, but she never really bothered to get it to talk. I never had any Nerf stuff though. Maybe it's an American thing. Lots of love for The Land Before Time. The endless sequels, not so much.

It's a little frightening how much of the stuff I wrote about is still in my life, including a Furby at work and a Nerf gun for cat harassment. And no, no love for the sequels. There can only be one.

I love this story. Please tell me it isn't a one-shot.

My aunt gave me a Sunny Yellow baby Furby (named May-Lah) one year for Christmas. I played with it daily for several months. One day, it said, "Wheres Kitty? Meow? Here Kitty!" That was something I would say when calling my cat. Creeped me out enough that I stopped playing with it. I think I still have it though; maybe I should turn it back on.

It is intended to be a one-shot, but last time I said that I ended up writing 29,300 words of HSAU stories, so we'll see.

This was as fantastic as your clips of it led me to hope it would be. I actually lost it at the Nerf battle, which is officially going in my comedy headcanon. Absolutely loved this! :D
