i like the fact that my pink sparkly bike handle tassles and horn inspire strangers to grin and chat to me as i ride along in traffic or stop at the lights ( Read more... )

there are people who build their own. i haven't seen any specially fancy homemade zeppelins, but there are plenty of people who make wacky hot air balloons, blimps and non-rigid airships. there are even people who fly with giant bunches of helium-filled weather balloons.

I love Zeppelins. So very, very much. It's a shame they died out in the 40s, I'd've loved to tour the world in a luxury zeppelin...
