So, the other day I was thinking how disappointed I was that Fruits Basket doesn't have much room for geekery. For the most part, I like series that challenge me intellectually somehow. So she is deeply deeply flawed, just not in the obvious way.
I used to geek out over Furuba in the beginning with my theories on the conspiracy. Rabid fangirls pissed me off though and I left Fruitygroups and most of the fandom. I still enjoy the manga, although the art kind of is meh.
Nerd alert: I have a printer's copy of volume 1 ;). I submitted fanart after a call for it, and they were kind enough to send me the proof copy.
