Language is like water because we need it to survive. We are hardwired to be social beings. Directly hardwired into our pain centers. If we don't.... ouch. We need language to get along, learn and grow.

It's all in the rhythm. The heartbeat comment above is good.
There are some who seem to believe that language has a concrete aspect. That the communication of ideas can and should be done in solid structured fashions. But the purpose of communication is very often to give form to the formless. The concepts of mind, especially higher mind, are not concrete. They are fluid.
Managing language in the tides of the worldscape is much like trying to stay afloat. be it a tiny boat on the ocean, or a kayak on a river. Sometimes the water is peaceful, sometimes there are massive swells and wild rapids. But remember, it is a -skill-. Not like math or engineering, more like surfing or playing an instrument. Non-perfectable, fluid and prone to unexpected change.
One uncertainty here is knowing what water means to you. How is water like water?

It is my guess that on our death beds it is the emotional experiences we will relive and the emotional ties we had. Just guessing, but have read this a lot and of the few dead I have witnessed die...it has been true.
