Well, it actually was a little shorter - I've been aiming for about 2000 words per chapter, but the previous few chapters have been several hundred words longer. This was just around 2000, give or take a few words. :)

Yup, I've said it before, but "poor" is a good adjective to describe any character that I like a lot. :P
