While it's horribly painful, at least it's close. Change is on the horizon and it's not going to take much more to push everything over that edge. And really, the opponents to gay marriage timed it right - younger and more open-minded voters don't do the off-year elections as much as other years. It will change. Unfortunately, this sort of thing never happens overnight.
