"No, we will never tolerate unfairness. And it's our right to say so."

If we hear one more "yes on 8" person calling the LGBT community "intolerant" for standing up against the recently passed biased, we are going to pull our hair out. It, along with accusations of "gay hate," have become the rally cries of Team Anti-Marriage Equality™. However, it is nothing more ( Read more... )

I believe I've been invited to a protest here in Chico -- you better believe I'll be there!

GodDAMNit, why are these things always when I'm stuck at work? D:

...although I'm not sure I like the phrase 'civil disobedience' being tossed about on the MySpace page for my local protest. -_-

I'll be with all of you in spirit, at least! (And I have something I need to remember to email you about this evening, unrelated to this.)

POOP! D:

Eh, I'm sure 'civil disobedience' is probably something along the lines of blocking the streets. Which.. really they shouldn't do. Law enforcement is so much more supportive when you don't make them have to get up and come after you. I've only joined protests before where I was assured that civil obedience would be part of it, but.. well, this is important enough to me to take part nonetheless.

I'm pretty sure I was supposed to get back to YOU about something too (that wasn't the Apollo thing) only now I don't remember what. *fail*

Riiiiight right right right, Fanime. I'm sure that'll be fine. I still haven't seen anything on the AA so far--I'm keeping up with the word on the forums here.

I want to punch your coworkers in the mouth.

Are you guys planning on bringing any signage? I already made one ("Prop 8 stole my friend's marriage") but am totally willing to make more and different.

Was planning on making some giant sarcastic Constitutionally Designated Second Class Citizen "certificate" signs to pass out too if anyone wanted one, but Jason suggested it could be construed as.. non-sarcastic..?
