Sigur Rós, a rock band from Iceland.

This one reminded me of an earlier conversation with yuganda, who said that she used to collect songs from every European language. Which is such a great idea that I stole it from her and improved a bit, and I'd like to have a song from every language of the world. :D ( Read more... )

Mostly Tex-Mex, music from northern Mexico and South Texas. I have so many, but I am on my work computer, my PC at home has all the songs.

Hehe, I adore German hip hop: Schwule Mädchen from Fettes Brot used to be my favourite song, lol. Just like Mr. Wichtig by Tic Tac Toe *is embarrassed*
I have Lacrimosa, Thomas D, Xavier Naidoo, and my new favourite: Christina Stürmer. :-)
I would welcome more German hip hop, yo! :DD

Catalan would be even more wonderful! Thanks in advance. ;)

Since you already have Dutch. I have a song in Fresian for you. I know it's a bit remote, but it's a language. *g*

Wer Bisto - Twarres

It's not rock, but I hope you like it anyway. =)

OMG, freaky, I have this song (used to be my favourite)...but you say, that Twarres actually not Dutch? :-))

I love Twarres, by the way. ;)

Thanks, anyway! Do you have more songs from Belgium? ;)

They are Dutch, but the language they sing in isn't. It's Fresian, the language some people still speak in the North of Holland.

I'm not a big fan of Dutch music myself, but I'll have a look what I have in my CD collection.
