The sweetened condensed coconut milk in Go Dairy Free works for me every time. - http://www.godairyfree.org/Go-Dairy-Free-Guidebook.html

Thanx for the link ~ looks like a good resource.

Is the recipe soy-based? I would rather not pay fifteen bucks for another soy-based substitute, when that is what I am trying to avoid.

No, it is a soy-free, dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegan sweetened condensed milk alternative. There are many soy-free recipes in Go Dairy Free, and it includes a food allergy index so you can see at a glance which recipes are soy-free.

ok. I spent a LOT of time perfecting dairy free sweetened condensed milk.
I use coconut milk and sugar to make my own.. Are you interested in the method?

Yes. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!! (please)

Not only I am I interested, but it is entirely possible that I may be inclined to kiss you, turn cartwheels, bear your children...okay, maybe that last one is a little over-the-top....but I would be VERY, VERY PLEASED if you would share :)
