Does anyone have any good lunch recipies that travel well?
I am looking for a little more variety in my daily brown-bagged lunch...

Thanks

Homebaked banana bread or zucchini bread are great supplements to a lunch, but they require time and a loaf pan ( ... )

Thanks, I love banana bread, but never thought to take it for lunch. It would take some extra time, but it could be used all week.

And yeah, I do occasionally bring dinner from the night before, but as I am at school I dont have access to a microwave.

hey, i don't know if you've tried the quorn brand "turkey roast", or if it's available where you live, but it's GREAT for sandwiches. i haven't found a lot of fake lunchmeats that i like, but i really like this. i was a little skeptical when i first tried the roast fresh out of the oven, because it didn't taste much like turkey to me. however, eating it cold on a sandwich is just like the real thing.

on a similar note, if you ever see quorn brand "garlic & herb cutlets," you should try them...they are AMAZING. most like chicken i've ever had.

for lunches, i'd suggest bringing some cooked soybeans to lunch (good cold, as well as hot) or making a spinach/tomato wrap (you can put whatever you'd like in the tortilla). one thing that i enjoy bringing are morningstar chik'n nuggets that i've cooked the night before. i don't reheat them for lunch...i think they taste just fine cold.

hope this helps and gives you a few ideas :)

Thanks so much! Those are really great ideas.. It's funny though, because I don't like the fake meat that tastes alot like meat, because I just don't like the taste of meat. But I love chik'n nuggets, but never thought to have them the next day.. thanks agian :]

(I love your icon, by the way)
