I mean, it's been almost a week and I still don't quite have my ~feelings sorted on the matter because it was just. that. good!

And you're completely right about how far superior it is to every other television show on the market at the moment.

It blew me away, man. I always knew it was good, of course, but it's something else to watch it and other shows side by side, especially not having any new episode for almost a year. It's startling.

It really needs to win an Emmy next year. Ugh.

Vince Gilligan is a totally awesome person. Sweet and gracious and hilarious and brilliant.

You don't have to be sheepish about shipping Glenn/Daryl. It's pretty blatant, for as little as we've seen of them together. Also, you can blame it all on the folks at TWoP.

Brilliant part is a given, but I'm so appreciative of the sweet and gracious and hilarious part. It's a heady, and rare, combination. ::adores::

::nods to self:: That's right, it wasn't JUST me. Plus, there are some good folks at ffnet who seem keen on the idea as well.

I wonder, though, whether the show's creaters/writers picked up on that vibe
and are thinking of exploring it at all? I know technically it's Rick and Glenn who share a good friendship (and they do in the show, too), but I wonder Daryl's addition to the show is going to change the relationship dynamics altogether. Hmm.

I'm not getting my hopes up about the writers running with it, because that shit just never happens, but it will be interesting to see how much they balance time between Rick/Glenn and Daryl/Glenn.

Hee! I love you. <3

(But did you catch the trailer? There was like, one scene where they were together in a very tiny pace, and my mind went to places.)
