Rubicon & Hornblower

Did a marathon of Rubicon with a friend this weekend - currently on Ep 5.  If I haven't already been in love with AMC for Breaking Bad, this would've done the trick.  I can see why this show wouldn't win any popularity contest any time soon, but it definitely fills the void of intellectual thrillers on TV.  I'm a sucker for anything cryptology-

Argh. Your post has made me nostalgic for some Breaking Bad. I can't believe the new season is still MONTHS AND MONTHS away...

I've not seen Rubicon, I'm guessing you recommend it as an 'in the meantime' for BB?!

I miss BB, too. At least it's actually less than a year left to go now. ::groan::

Rubicon was pretty solid, but if you're not for espionage genre, you may not find it interesting. I personally find it fascinating, but more for the subject matter than the storytelling, which is where BB excels at!
