You're the one who got me addicted to Webber, and I still am (addicted, that is). But belief me, I'm certainly not complaining. I remember listening to Phantom while you babysat me and chris. *sigh* good times, good times...

LOL, I'd forgotten all about that! This was kind of a trip down memory lane for me. I really haven't thought much about Webber since HS. It was fun to remember.
I was there several years ago when the whole night was a Bob Newhart tribute. It was kind of strange to see how much the broadcast differed from the live event. (Like, what a shame we won't get to see Jessica Simpson's hurried exit.) Also, did you mean CBS or PBS? It would be so nice if things have changed, but once upon a time only public broadcasting would touch that gig.
Are you singing a lot these days? Where? Are any of your gigs shows I can afford?

No, it's really CBS. They've always carried Kennedy Center Honors - they show it the day after Christmas, when no one is really paying attention.
Usually the broadcast is almost exactly like the real thing, except a little shorter. They only re-take the stuff that's really screwed up, like the "wardrobe malfunction".
Tix for most of the shows start around $18...not sure how that works with "affordable" but it might be okay.

I can do an $18 show once in a rare while, but need to know when and where they are! (Consider posting your dates here so we can see them?)
Also, please send me email or reply here if you want me to keep your journal out of my friends page for any reason. Back in the day when I started my LJ, it made sense for various reasons to keep that page blank. I've changed my purpose and thinking on the issue, but I like to get permission before I link folks through my little patch of the Web. (After all, I read other peoples' friends pages, so I assume my readers do the same.)
