Is there a term for vegans that do use honey/beeswax/insect products that identifies them as being different from vegans that don't use insect products? No value judgments, just writing an article and looking for a less wordy way to explain that some vegans are ok with insect products and others aren't.

"A vegan is a person who avoids as far as possible the use of any materials produced by cruelty to animals or people for nourishment or for any other purpose."

I understand that chickens lay infertile eggs. Does this mean that a vegan diet can include free range, organic, fairtrade etc chicken eggs?

I wrote this rant last night while drunk and I like how it turned out. No offense to anyone named Joe.

"If you're that concerned about labels, you could call yourself strict vegetarian.

Don't dilute my veganism with animal products, though, please. It's kind of rude."
