If I’m rigid about it and I’m perfect, then no one is going to be able to be like me because I’ll be this icey, rigid thing.

Or people could just see you as a hypocritical, sell-out who can't stand beside their principles.

I'm only icey and rigid because of the stupid cold weather.

*turns up the heating*

Hmm, now I want to eat cheese.

Well she's really a macrobiotic who slips sometimes.

That's not really true. On a recent interview on Oprah, Silverstone was raving about the awesome (totally heavily-processed) dairy substitutes she likes to eat (when she isn't chowing down on cheese, that is).

Tofutti Sour Supreme, FYH "cheese", and the Tofutti "Mud Pies" (her words) were products that she was particularly raving about.

(As I understand it) macrobiotics is (among other things) about eating whole foods, and avoiding heavily-processed stuff. I love pretty much everything Tofutti makes (Sour Surpeme in particular), but it definitely is pretty processed.

I don't know. . .a "vegan" who eats cheese at every social event she goes to because it shows how "OMG EAZEEE" it is to be vegan is pretty much the same thing as a meat eating vegetarian. At least in my book, but what do I know, I'm an icey, rigid vegan.

Yeah. Not surprised.

Being morally consistent is so hard. /sarcasm
