Chuchai has a really good hot-and-sour "shrimp" soup. It's not terribly hot or sour, so don't get your hopes up if that's your thing, but it's delicious, and I haven't seen vegan shrimp anywhere else...
Anything from Aux Vivres is bound to be delicious beyond belief. I've tried their smoothies, sandwiches, and rice bowls - all are amazing. The Dragon Bowl, Mekong sandwich, and BLT are great.
Chuchai is awesome too. I'd recommend the yellow curry with "beef", crispy "duck" with spinach, and the appetizers are tasty as well (the crispy sweet and sour seaweed, and one of their award-winning "finger foods" as well)
Ooh, and I'd recommend eating at Crudessence too. Yum.
This is so helpful, thanks so much!! I'd never heard of Crudessence but I've googled it now, looks amazing, I will definitely have to add that to my itinerary.
There's a place called le Cagibi which is in the same place as Aux Vivres. The food is for the most part ovo-lacto veg but I was able to get pretty much anything on the menu veganized.
