might be a good idea to add this to happy cow or something?

uh-oh, to be on happy cow thay have to be at least 60% vegetarian. I don't think Two Boots meets this.

Also, I think that their answer on the pasta is not definitive. They sound to me like one of those people who are under the (false) impression that most pasta contains eggs (whereas the majority of dry pasta, at least, actually does not). Perhaps send them another email specifiying that a lot of pasta is in fact vegan, and that you would like them to check for sure about their pasta, not "all pasta in general".

all the pre-prepared avacado dips around here have dairy as the first ingredient. >_

What do they MEAN that almost all pasta has egg yolk? Almost all of their pasta? Or are they dumb and think that almost all of pasta everywhere has egg?

Methinks someone's been mistaking Semolina with Salmonella. A dangerous confusion, that. :)

Be especially aware of the ones that only list the ingredients, "Organic wheat (100%), water." They must be hiding eggs in there somewhere. :p

Ah thank you! My parents are major Two Boots junkies. And now maybe I'll go eat with them now that I know what's what.

keep in mind, Manhattan (non-restaurant) Two Boots might be different.
