Hmm... I ate there last year on a day trip. The guy at the counter had assured me that the cheese was vegan/ no casein- and honestly it tasted like it. That being said, I simply avoid the place because the food is yucky.

their vegan cheese is actually vegan now, after they got fucking obliterated with bad press

then they turned around and lied about the desserts they were selling being the owner's recipe (they were actually from vegan treats in bethlehem, pa) and so vegan treats pulled their supplies

now they just try to mimick whatever vegan treats has on their website

they're just all around shitty

Also, I don't understand how it could be difficult to make vegan cheese-substitute. The stuff at Pizza Pi (in Seattle) is heavenly. Mmmmmm. And they're a tiny independent business!

check philly_veg_out's pizza tag. there is definitely a place (in a meaty establishment, so it's not good for ryan) that uses follow your heart on their vegan pizzas. they're in SW center city.
