I have heard about and seen great results from the b12 injections. There are also patches available for those who are needle-shy. They work well too.

Are they vegan? I mean, clearly, health is important. I'm just wondering if the convenience and price is worth the actual veganism sacrifice, if they're not. I realize health is important, but, again, I'm just wondering.

i'm not sure about these injections in particular, but most injectable substances are created in labs using synthetic garb.

Well... I don't know about B-12 injections specifically, but I was given a series of B vitamin injections a few years ago at the request of a naturopath. After years of living with depression and anxiety my nerves were shot and the injections helped a lot (they weren't the only treatment I was undergoing, but they helped) - the levels were much, much higher than something I would absorb through pills or food. The only negative side-effect that I experienced was a weird rush of dizziness not long after the injections, which would pass. I've read that getting a huge dose of B-12 or B vitamins (like in an injection) all at once can have some side-effects, so you may want to do some research on that. :)

Friends have used them and helped them heaps. I know a few people with coeliac/celiac which can stop you absorbing b12 and so they obviously benefitted from it.
