just wanted to share a heads-up on this:
nathaniel, the founder of mercy for animals, has long been a proponent of queer and homosexual struggles, having been openly queer for several years.
this past weekend, he was attacked in an anti-queer motivated hate crime at a night club in dayton, ohio.
as of yet, there is no collection being taken for medical expenses or any 'calls for action', but i wanted to give everyone a heads up that this has happened to a very vocal animal rights proponent.
if there are any calls for action or any donations for medical expenses, i'll let you all know. as of now, he is in the hospital awaiting lots of surgery to heal his very broken body.
