local community

Hi everyone.  I have been vegan for about two years now, and I feel like I am the only in my entire state.  I have heard that there is quite the vegan community in Salt Lake, however, so I was wondering if any of you are in Salt Lake.

in my search, i couldn't find any veg groups in utah, but i did find the following:
greenparty_utah and utahanorexics chances are you'd find veggies in both of those.

if you end up creating a utah veg community, let me know, and i'll add it to the info page of vegantravel

I don't know about the vegan community in Salt Lake, but when I visited last year for snowboarding, I went to Sage's Cafe and Vertical Diner and they were both awesome!

Hey, there is a SLC Zinefest TODAY! You should go, I'm sure you will meet lots of vegans. It's at the SLC Public Library from 1 pm to 8 pm.

I'm in salt lake :) well... murray. I am the only vegan (or vegetarian for that matter) that I have ever met here. Strange! It's good to know that I am not the only one, though is does definitely feel that way.

I know this post is old, but I'm up in Logan and we have a huge vegan community (we do potlucks, food swaps, etc)... SLC is awesome for vegan foods- the pie pizzeria with FYH cheese!!! WOOHOO!!
