When checking the ingredients list of a product, you may read "May contain milk ingredients." or "Made in a facility that uses egg and milk ingredients." at the end. Do you choose put the item back on the shelf or do you buy it?

if it says processed on equiptment that may have been used for dairy, etc, like luna/clif/larabars say, i will still eat it. if it says may contain milk, i'm not likely to consume said product because dairy products don't sit well with me (physically and ethically)

No, I see it as a sign the product doesn't contain any actual dairy/egg ingredients.
