I apologize for my last post, it was clearly poorly articulated and false. I was being humorless, as is a typical problem of mine (and most vegans). I would also like to take this opportunity to apologize for my old post about vegan egging. Suggesting a vegan alternative to an already ridiculous cultural phenomenon is not only completely unfunny ( Read more... )

Maybe I shouldn't be saying anything seeing as I did not take the time to fully read his whole last post or many comments, but it seems to me as if he's apologizing...and you're all going to keep criticizing even his apology? I would think it might've been ok to criticize the last post, but an apology? I mean come on he's saying he's wrong and apologizing? What's so wrong with that, unless he really doesn't mean it? Which to me it looks like he really means it.

It's hard to tell because it's so unfunny, but I believe the above is a pseudo-apology, intended for snark purposes only. I think he's still trying to make fun of us.

Methinks this is something that will be brought up shortly in vpmods. As for crossposting, we don't allow that in vegancooking, it's a rule that is in the comm info, so it doesn't require discussion or consensus among the mods.

Cheers!

I'm glad it's going to be brought up in the mod's community. The user info for this community talks about respect for veganism in discussions. Thanks.

Agreed. Buddhist Temple cuisine is a strong ancient tradition from China, and that's just one example.
