Good news and bad news. The good news is that David Motari is being expelled from the Marines for his notorious "throwing puppy off a cliff" misdeed. The bad news is that this means the video was very, very real.

What a fucking dick. If someone is capable of doing something like that, they're seriously disturbed and need to be locked up in an asylum as far as I'm concerned. Unbelievable. It's enough to make me want to throw HIM off a cliff!

I'm not certain that it does mean the video was real. Although it's quite possible, I imagine they would consider these actions in a fake video to be enough to claim they acted "contrary to the high standards we expect of every Marine and will not be tolerated." It did cause a lot of people to be pissed off.

Either way, I don't think it being taken seriously enough.

Yeah, that's pretty messed up. But given that his job is to shoot people because someone told him to, what do you expect?

Yeah really. He probably threw like 2 kids over the cliff before the puppy.

Just so everyone is clear, the military is not school and one cannot be expelled. One can be discharged. It does not say what type of discharge this guy will get, but if it is anything other an honorable, it will raise questions. It will be on all background checks and there is a spot on most job applications for military service and the questions will be raised about what type of discharge he received ( ... )
