what is normal?

Is it normal for TVP to make me violently ill? And is it normal for soy to make me feel like glass shards are going through my intestines?
I'm not a troll, I swear. I'm trying to figure out which foods I'm allergic to.

Um, if it hurts or makes you sick, its probably not normal. You probably have an intolerance or allergy of some kind.

Bah. I wish my health insurance covered allergy testing.

Why do you need allergy testing? Soy and TVP make you feel like shit. Don't eat them. It's really that simple.

Yeah, actually. I haven't eaten soy in about 2 years, probably even longer. That term describes me to a T.
I'm looking for something that is the least disgusting in coffee. If you have any helpful suggestions, feel free.

I'm not sure why anyone would think that is normal. No offense, but it pretty clearly is not.

I was just checking, actually. Soy is actually the only product that tastes the least disgusting when placed in coffee.

Embrace the coffee-ness of coffee and take it black! :)

Definitely not normal. I suggest staying away from soy for a while, and see if you feel any better.

Oh, I haven't had soy in a few years. I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth the risk to go back to trying it again since it's the least disgusting substance in coffee.

branch out. vanilla rice milk, oat milk, hemp milk, almond milk, hazelnut milk, etc. of many different brands have many different tastes and many of them taste just fine in coffee.

Do you honestly think it would be normal for someone to eat something that is not spoiled and to have that reaction?

NO, it is not normal. The obvious plan of action would be to avoid consuming it and see if you feel better. Soy intolerance and allergies are not uncommon.

Well, I do avoid it actually. I was just checking. It's the substance that is the least disgusting in coffee.
