sugar

May 30, 2008 20:09

for awhile i ate plain regular old sugar, but after some research i found out it isn't vegan. i've noticed sugar is kind of a controversial subject among vegans, so i'm wondering if you guys eat it.

Most (all?) sugar in Australia is vegan. It still surprises me that the US has such different ideas about how best to process food.

Other optional sweeteners - I have this licorice tea by Clipper which is extraordinarily sweet. There are no additives, only licorice.

i love licorice tea! no-one believes me when i tell them it sweet cos they assume it'll taste like black licorice jelly beans or something >.< soo yummy! it's sweet in a different way than sugar tho, you taste it in the back of the mouth.
