Thanks for posting this. This has been something I've been reading about for years because I have some form acidosis, I think due to coeliac, and now I'm in my 40s and have been rather underweight for a long time. There's also a book by one of the old school macrobiotic teachers Herman Aihara called "Acid and Alkaline" which got me into this. So, yay potassium. I'm always looking for foods richest in it including some traditional Chinese herbs that are often also known as kidney tonics (such as rehmannia/foxglove) and these things are considered great for health and strength into old age. I'm also starting weight based exercise and eating more beans. :)

It's great to have what I'm focusing on confirmed by another source.
