are you eating a lot of salty foods lately?

i thought too much salt causes bloat, but i might have just made that up or something.

Salt can definitely be a culprit, especially for things like water retention.

If the OP is eating a lot of processed vegan foods, they are most likely getting WAY more sodium than is good for them.

Drink more water, cut down on salt, and if you're eating a high fiber level regularly you'll be fine. I've noticed if I'm doing all of these, I'll usually bloat first thing after a meal (especially with brown rice or beans), but then since I'm SO regular, it doesn't take long for the bloat to go away, haha.

If you don't want to get bloated in the first place, avoid excess carbohydrates.

You can have an intolerance to almost any substance under the sun, I'm afraid. If being properly hydrated, eating well, and getting a reasonable amount of exercise and good quality sleep isn't helping, it may be that you need to look at a food intolerance.

Probably too much salt and/or fiber and not enough water. Or way too much water. You're not downing a few gallons a day, are ya? STOPPPPPP!!
