yeah, I would only ever refer to a vegan as an herbivore.

Technically speaking, it's never been settled as to whether humans are herbivores or frugivores. I lean towards the latter, given our hand-shape and digestive systems.

interesting except women have opinions and socio-political positions too. too bad for the sake of literary appeal tree-woman sounds less cool than tree-man and this is case i guess it's important to refer to males as champions of such movements (sigh)
