someone in this community once responded to this question with 'i treat others how i want to be treated. i wouldn't want to live my whole life in a cage, never get to go outside, and be killed for someone else to eat.'

My standard response is "There is no reason we NEED to eat meat/animal products. So why would I cause pain and suffering that can so easily be prevented?"

That was really hard to watch. Like I could go vomit up all my years of not knowing.

I wish they went further with the environmental facets too. Baldwin mentions it at the end, but they stayed on the victimization of the animals the whole time. People taht havent read other things won't stretch their minds further.
