So, googling has turned up very little. I'm looking for a place my friend and I can go for a light breakfast in Chicago (Lincoln Park area especially) before yoga.
Any recs?
edit: sorry; I should probably learn how to do tags. I'll get right on that. I think this is mislabeled. it should be midwest instead of northeast.

if you want to go north up halsted a little bit, you'll hit chicago diner, which has a full brunch, from light fare to biscuits and gravy. its on halsted, just a few blocks past belmont. www.veggiediner.com

lol, that's my fault. I went on a tagging spree and I think I did okay with the others but I'm Australian so my knowledge of US Geography ain't crash hot. I just remembered that Chicago was sort of in the north and sort of in the east so I labelled it that. And now I can't seem to delete the "travel-usa-northeast" one, although I did add the correct one.
How embarassing.
But why is it called the "midwest" if it's not anywhere *near* the west coast? Why??? :P

also curious that Northwestern University is in Chicago, eh...? I think before they found that whole other part of America, we used to be the West? Maybe the name just stuck!

It is in Lakeview which is a few blocks north of Lincoln Park. Down Clark street.
They serve brunch till 3.30
Here's their brunch menu
It does tend to get quite busy on weekend mornings so either go early or allow yourself time to wait.
