Treehugger survey on meat-eating habits.

Feb 22, 2008 10:47

Due to the recent meat recalls, Treehugger is running a survey asking if people's meat-eating habits have changed.

After 283 people surveyed, 5% have said that they have given up meat recently due to the recent news.

Neat!

See the survey here.

I love their wording on this answer: "I now am eating a lot less meat and more real food, mostly green, and not too much."

Meat is not REAL food. <3

That's great but generally the people that "switch" after something like that happens, only switch for a little bit : (

the commenters are fuckwits though. one says "i try to eat meat in an environmentally-responsible way", and another seems to think the only alternative to meat is boca burgers.

i hope a nice rational vegan replies soon. i would, but these morons are interfering with my ability to be tactful.

Yeah. Treehugger has a lot of happy meat and "I could never go vegan" people.
