I don't know why I haven't mentioned it before, but if you are in the STL area for any reason you MUST go to Terrene restaurant (terrene-stl.com) in the central west end. I've been there many times, but I feel like I must get the word out about this place. It's not all veg, but they have vegan options which are amazing, such as philly steak ( Read more... )

..what. wow. I'm from StL and I've never heard of this place. (Also in the CWE is Eternity, which I always suggest to like everyone because it's amazing soul veg goodness.) Thanks for the rec. I shall absolutely give them a try next time I'm home :)

I <3 Eternity, but it takes FOREVER to get your food. I work on the barnes campus and I would walk over there for food if it didn't take so long :(
There is a veg. (but they serve fish) soul food place on Delmar, LIfestyles Cafe (ghetto part of Delmar) but I have yet to try it.

Yeah, I know that cardwell's uses Aurapro for some of the vegan items. I have yet to try them. You must try Terrene- make a special occasion!
