I can relate to your entry 100%. She was an amazing and beautiful person.
I found her journal through a friend. I always read it but it wasn't until her post about Angela Shelton that I commented and added her. I am going to miss her as well.
What really hurts me the most is that I know Angela Shelton personally. And, I really wanted to get to know Lindsay more. You'd think this is embellishment, but it's not: I was so taken by Lindsay, I was hoping to introduce her to Angela someday. Now all I could do is link Angela to my journal entry.
I met Lindsay a long time ago. she came to all of my bands show and always danced in the front. she is the reason ive learned to embrace the unexpected. i am very saddened by this, and I hope their family will pull through. My deepest sympathies.
Is that not the best obituary you ever read? Jeez, donations in lieu of flowers.. this family is something special. If only the rest of humanity could become of this nature.
I met Lindsay back in early elementary school, and only within the last few years got the opportunity to really get to know her to the extent that I did. I know I'm not alone when I say that she was a powerful source of inspiration. I still haven't been able to wrap my brain around this. It all still seems so unreal. I think the thing I am going to miss the most is our conversations. Lindsay was such a wonderful conversationalist. I would look forward to speaking with her; she had a very understanding vibe to her. Very down to earth. This strong independent woman will deeply be missed.
I offer my deepest sympathies to all of Lindsay's family and friends. It is clear from just the most cursory of glances that she was an exceptional person.
My thoughts will be with you on Saturday. My Father suffers from diabetes, so it will actually be a pleasure to send £10 to a UK diabetic charity this weekend in memory of Lindsay.
I know that it will be hard for you all at this time. I wish I could do more than merely offer my sympathy.
