Oooh. That looks much more appetising than the wiki pic.

Also, I keep seeing people use kosher salt. What does that mean? Is other salt not vegan or kosher? Is there a difference in taste at all?

I'm glad you like the pics! You should try it, cause it was so good and fun! Kosher salt is coarser than normal salt, but shaved thinner than sea salt or coarse salt, but for some reason desolves better. If you don't have kosher salt, just use less regular salt. I just like kosher better here. Also, kosher salt is actually koshering salt for preserving kosher stuff. I am not kosher, so I don't know all the details off the top of my head.

kosher salt has more sodium than sea salt also :)
